I was brought into the Treyarch team in May of 2014 as a senior user interface designer under the lead Stewart Roud and the art director Shaun Bell. At the time the team was still exploring look and feel development but had already gathered relevant reference materials and had some visual concepts and motion designs from Ash Thorp that they wanted to explore further.

While helping Stewart and Shaun to further explore the UI through concepts I also began to work with their proprietary UI editor (equivalent to Flash with Scaleform) in order to ramp up properly for production and audit the tool for improvement/stability suggestions.

When the lead designer was let go, I became a more integral part of the studio as I was the only UI designer for roughly half a year. I spent this time building the team with Shaun as well as helping to develop the visual foundation for future team members while working closely with the UX designer.
